PSLE (before and after)

Most people say that the PSLE year is the most stressful year. I agree with them as I don't have much time to play and relax myself as I have to study for the whole year. PSLE is around the corner now, and that makes me worry. I get even more worried when my parents remind me when is PSLE and than talk about how difficult it is...I mean aren't parents suppose to encourage their children and not discourage them? Well, I think i have done all I can to do revise my work. After PSLE, I will look forward to the JEP and I might choose these friends in my group: Yun Ling, Ray Ying, Qamariah......(I don't know who else). I would really like this people in my group as they are very close to me and I work well with them :)

My old & new group

First, my new group is not bad. I have some friends in there and some people I barely talk to. I think that is a good thing as I get to make more friends.(I said,THINK!)Although I said that my new group was not bad I have some people who I kind of __________(fill the blank with any word which means a little bit hate)But I can always try to not hate them. So, I am 50-50 when changing or staying in my new group.
Well, my old group is also not bad. I was in the class com so I was always in charge but I do not know why my group members put me in charge. It's not fair as I will do everything(group work,not every time but a lot) by myself. One will normally go play with his friends and the other will SOMETIMES help me with the group work. Well(again),nobody is PERFECT.

Academic

Academic is .....(looking at a dictionary)...connection with educational subjects
shorter meaning-studying!
so,I've been well busy.(not)I just studied a little on(100%)Maths,mother worried about my maths,(50%)Mother Tongue,must get an A for some reason,(20%)English and (5%)Science.
Serve me right for not studying much on Science. Got 63 over 100!(If I counted correctly)I could not believe it!I normally got 76 or above!(So embarrassing!)I have not gotten the marks for my other subject. Thank god! If I got all my marks at the same time, I might have a heart attack due to my marks which(might)will be disappointing.
Well I hope I can go back in time to really study for my subjects mostly on my Science and Mother Tongue.Even though I go to the best Malay class, my Malay is quite bad.:(
My Malay teacher say if I don't get an A for my Malay exam, I will be transferred to the other Malay classes(I really don't think she is serious but who knows?)
Well I learnt to study or face DREADFUL results!

Term 2 is coming, Term 1 is leaving

Well, I did a lot of revisions.Umm...maybe not He..he..but I did learn something. We need friends. If not we'll be lonley...dead lonely.That does not mean I'm lonely. I've got many friends....or a few. (Few=4 to 5) They are always helping me with school work. They also chat with me. One of my friends can talk for many hours and sometimes I wanted to fall asleep listening to her.Snore...Snore.. My other friend speek very softly sometimes I can't hear what she's talking about.But their still my friends. Nobody's perfect right? Anyway my friends have a great personality that's what like about them. They are funny and always there when I need them.That's what matters.

week 5

During this week, I learnt more than the subjects in school like friendship. I actually fought with my best friend just because of a new bicycle. We have not been talking to each other for this week. I regret fighting with her as I do not have anyone to talk to. All my other friends were not so close to me and they had their other friends. On Friday, I decided to apologise to her but she kept turning away from me and continue to talk to her other friends. Soon I walk away and I heard someone calling my name. I turned and saw my best friend walking towards me.She said that she was just kidding and we could be friends again. Now we think about that and laugh.How foolish we were to make something that can easily be thrown away between our friendship.

week 4

Week 4 was not such a busy week. I did not get much homework and during some classes ,I did many group works with my friends.there was another teacher taking over my class. Although I was a little bored doing worsheets everyday for the few days, I got to know more about the English subject such as 'Similes'.

The assembly was fun as there was some people performing with some puppets to tell us about preventing crime. I felt a little relief as I got to watch something not boring. I was happy as soon as my teacher came back as that means not so much worksheets.

week 3

Even though it was week, during the weekends I have tons of homework to do.Maths, Mother Tongue, English, Science, Art and Social Studies.So I started as soon as reached home. I did my homework until it was late. I was only halfway through! The next day I had tuition for 4 hours. After I reached home after tuition, I rested for a while. After that I decided to do more of my homework. Soon it was late again and I still had my Ssocial Studies and Maths to do! I sighed a sign of relief as soon as I finished my homework. I hope I can continue to finish my homework on time.

What is graciousness?
The excellence of manners or social conduct and the quality of being kind and gentle. We can show graciousness by listening to people when they are talking so we will not interupt their speech.

Why is it important for the society to embraced the value of graciousness?
If the society embraced the value of graciousness, it might be peaceful without riots or fights as people listens to others.

Act of graciousness
I have once had a friend who had some problems with homework. She had talked to her friends but all of them did not listen to hear. She was to shy to talk to adults so she asked me. I pity her and listened. After she finished talking, I told her the solution. After a few days, she was happy as she was no longer scolded by teachers for incomplete homework. I found out that listening can solve some or all problems.

Responsibility in words and deeds

What is resposibility?

Responsibility is what we show to others and ourselves. We can show responsibility to our family and friends, school and society.

Family and friends: We can do our house hold chores and give some support to our family.We can help our friends with their schoolwork.

School: We must not damage the school's property. We must be responsible for the right and wrongs we do.

Society: We must be on the best behavior in the public. We must not damage public property.

We must be responsible to ourselves before we can be responsible to others.

Journal writing(week 2)

I know most of the people in my class now. Although I seat right at the back of the classs , I made some friends as they were in my class in other classes.(maths, mother tounge and science)
On Sunday I went to Causeway Point for some breakfast. My parents and I went to Long John Silvers. I ate a breakfast meal called "Big Fish". Hmm...! After that I went to shops which were located there. I bought a Geronimo Silton book and some joke books so that I can tell jokes to my friends when they need some cheering up! I hope I would not fall sick and fail to come to school!

Journal writing

My week at school was fun. I made some new friends although I sat far away from them. There was not much homework as it was the first week. I hope I can make friends with everybody in the class. I manage to make some friends in my maths class to as most of the people there are not in my class.I think all my teachers are very kind even though they scold us sometimes.I hope I can get good grades for my PSLE results.I can do that by studying and doing exercises everyday.(At least 1 hour a day) I hope everone will do their best in their PSLE this year!
